According to the caption on the back of the photo, this was taken in front of the home of his son, Howard.
The fence looks a lot like the fence in the previous post of Charles Edmund Beyer.
Oh, and about that previous post, I had a chance to look at another, much brighter, copy of that same picture... the lady on the porch may, indeed, be Kate.
I'm still curious what happened to his 1st wife Mary Ellen.
As a dealer of antiques, I'm interested in that "morticed bench" they are sitting on. Wish I could see it better.
